something regarding eligibility

I’m interested in participating in the upcoming Reddit hackathon, but I wanted to clarify something regarding eligibility. The rules state that apps submitted in a previous Reddit hackathon cannot be resubmitted. However, if I’ve significantly revised and improved my project—essentially making it a new version with major changes—would it still be eligible for submission?

    Yes, very much. But this depends, if your project [as per the last sentence in the next statement] was submitted to the previous hackathon, I sincerely think it doesnt qualify. Take a look at this rule - New & Existing: Projects must be either newly created by the Entrant or, if the Entrant’s Project existed prior to the Hackathon Submission Period, must have significantly updated after the start of the Hackathon Submission Period. Entrants should explain how their Project was significantly updated during the Submission Period. Projects submitted to Reddit’s last Hackathon are not eligible for this hackathon.

    Hi Stan! We'll accept projects that are ~60%+ more different than the previous submission.
